The ideal candidates should show a great passion for gaming and willingness to gain a valuable knowledge of testing processes while playing the most anticipated games before they are released.
The profile of a Game Tester for the European Localisation Department in Frankfurt should reflect this combination of interests along with a proven and strong proficiency in own language (French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Danish).
The main job duties can be summarized as playing and testing video games according to a given assignment plan, discovering faults in the games by using logical thinking and observation skills, accurately write bug reports using PC-based tools and report results to the team Lead.
For a game testers job, quality assurance is of prime importance and in terms of linguistic accuracy our Department is focused in aspiring to the highest standards, to ensure successful and enjoyable products.

Voraussetzungen, die Sie mitbringen.
• Native speaker of the language to be tested (French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Danish)
• Passion and interest to play video games along with appreciated gaming skills and understanding how games work
• Ability to identify language bugs, technical glitches and any other potential problem that might damage the qualityof the game
• Ability to write a proper bug report that is handed off to the Development Staff: for this, it is essential to have a
• very good knowledge of English, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of PC/Windows/MS Office
• Have a pro-active and flexible approach to work tasks along with the ability to perform effectively and under time pressure as well as independently and in a team, following given assignments and keeping great attention to details
• Ability to understand and apply new rules and procedures and to learn new tools quickly and effectively
• Personal orientation to respond effectively to frequently changing priorities and requirements that Projects might present
• Good communication skills
Optional:
 • Good troubleshooting skills evidenced by previous working experiences
• A previous experience in QA or game localisation and / or professional game testing experience can be seen as an advantage
• Knowledge of bug reporting
• Knowledge of any other European language and/or Japanese other than own native one and English, can be a considerable plus
